Meet The Educators
Ms. Wolff
My name is Alexia Wolff, and I am a professional STEM educator, researcher, and academic consultant with extensive experience guiding students across diverse learning environments.
I hold a B.S. in Biology from Old Dominion University and am currently pursuing advanced graduate -level credentials in Geographical Information Systems, alongside a research background in deep-sea ecology and marine systems. My interdisciplinary academic training spans biology, environmental science, anatomy & physiology, linguistics, and spatial data analytics.
Beyond my formal scientific training, my career is rooted in direct student mentorship, classroom instruction, and public science outreach. I actively serve as a NASA STEM360 Educator at the Virginia Air & Space Science Center, where I deliver high-engagement science programming to students across South-Eastern Virginia. My work centers on making complex abstract science concepts approachable, relatable, and deeply engaging through hands-on learning and real-world applications.
Dr. Aidan Lucas
My name is Aidan Lucas PhD, and I am a professional scientist, researcher, and educator. I have more than five years of professionally mentoring students from a variety of backgrounds in STEM research, plus experience tutoring students in subjects such as physics, mathematics, and chemistry. I have trained or tutored students from the high school on through the early doctoral level, with my efforts even being recognized by the William & Mary Center for Graduate Studies with the Sanderson Award in Undergraduate Mentoring.
I hold a B.S. in NanoEngineering from the Jacobs School of Engineering at the University of California, San Diego, as well as a minor in marine science from the Scripps Institution of Oceanography. I also hold a Ph.D. in Applied Science from the School of Computing, Data Science & Physics at the College of William & Mary; my doctoral project was on developing sustainable ceramics from glass-producing algae called diatoms. As of 2026, I am also a Virginia state accredited FE engineer.

At Ms. Wolff Teaches, we firmly believe that tutoring is most effective when it begins by meeting students where they are. No matter the academic goal, our instructional framework prioritizes patience, mutual respect, and critical comprehension. We focus on helping students understand the conceptual “why“ behind the material, moving far beyond rote memorization to develop sustainable study habits and analytical skills.
